Written for an Advent Story project I'm working on. This is from the perspective of Ana, the prophetess who prophesied concerning Jesus right after Simeon had finished with Him.
Ana had been married to a husband for only 7 years, and had no children. Yet she was married to God, really, for the
rest of her life, living and studying and prophesying in the temple.
This song is a glimpse into a poignant love story between her first husband, herself, and the God she served.

Verse 1:
On the day I was wed, my new husband said to me "What dreams do you have?
"What could I offer, that you've promised to spend your whole life with me?
When our lives are all done,
And we face the One
Who created us out of the dust
Will the dreams that we shared
Be a reality?

Who created us out of the dust

Are focused on pleasing God.
